SatCom
Altum RF components meet the stringent requirements for SatCom applications, including very small aperture terminals (VSAT) for geostationary systems (GEO), low-earth orbit (LEO) and medium-earth orbit (MEO) systems, active antennas systems for “SatCom on the move” and non-terrestrial networks (NTN) for connecting mobile devices.
Altum RF’s SatCom components include high-power and high-efficiency amplifiers, distributed amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, switches and phase shifters.
Altum RF typically uses GaAs technology for LNAs and PAs up to about 2 W output power and GaN for higher-power PAs. Our SatCom products often include features such as integrated matching to 50 Ohms, DC bias circuits, power detectors, and on-chip ESD protection.
